The Metro Hotel - Taipei Branch

Small hotel service was fast. I ask for a double bed room but they only left twin bed room. Called reception within 10mins the housekeeper join two twin together.

Can easily hear the noise from the street and from the corridor.

Hotel just under new renovation but the rooms still a bit old. The location is quite far from Train station but still a walking distance.

The price is attravtive and location a bit far! If got another comparative choice, give up this one.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the central location. I was able to easily walk to bus stations, where I could catch airport buses to Taoyuan Airport. The staff were attentive and provided great service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The attention to detail in the rooms, with their comfortable beds, made for a truly pleasant experience. Additionally, the breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

Fairly good value for money. Room was clean and the shower worked well / good hot water supply. Room wasn't WIFI but did have LAN cable for fast and free Internet. Hotel wasn't too noisy - in a fairly quiet street. About 15 mins walk from nearest MRT.

Reception staff were not at all friendly, despite the fact that they did their job.

The Metro Hotel - Taipei Branch exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was fantastic. Just a short 5-10 minute walk away from bus stations, it was incredibly convenient for catching airport buses to TPE Taoyuan airport. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to help. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with really great beds. It was a perfect place to rest after a long day of exploring the city.

The hotel has an excellent location close to the bus stop for TPE airport, making transportation to the airport very convenient. the hotel breakfast was great with freshly brewed coffee and delicious options. The staff members were helpful whenever I had questions.

Quaint and cozy, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with our needs. The rooms were surprisingly clean and well-designed, offering a good night's sleep. Two bus stations were within walking distance, making it convenient to get to the airport. The breakfast offered some Asian dishes, but we appreciated the toast and jam available as well.

The location was a bit far from the main attractions, and the walk to the nearest MRT station was a bit lengthy. The neighborhood wasn't the most attractive, and there was a dog barking at night from nearby buildings. The WiFi was a bit weak, forcing us to use hotspotting. Overall though, it was a good budget/midrange option with good value.

The accommodation is situated in a quiet residential area, which is not a good option if you're looking for convenience as there aren't any shops or eateries nearby. It's a relatively long walk to the metro station, making it inconvenient and difficult to carry luggage with you. it is conveniently close to buses that can take you to the TPE Taoyuan airport, so it's a good choice if you're looking for an early morning flight. the room is decent and clean, with a comfortable bed and an acceptable bathroom. Breakfast is average, with a limited menu that might not suit everyone.

The Wi-Fi in the room needs considerable improvement as it is very slow, making it difficult to work or leisure browse.
